Separating Entities on the same Layer

Can you customize DGN Link to convert separate entities on the same layer to different layers/colors etc ? We have AutoCAD drawings that have text, different linetypes & dimensions all on the same layer. When we convert these to DGN format, we need to separate these onto different levels for our customer. Is this possible with DGN Link ?
