Cats/DGNLink use a floating network license. They can be installed on a single computer for a single user scenario or installed on a local area network for use by one user at a time. Additional user licenses can also be purchased. The Cats/DGNLink software keeps track of the number of simultaneous users on the local area network and limits use according to the number of licenses. To use Cats/DGNLink on the local area network, each user just needs a shortcut to the executable on the server. Any computer on the local area network can act the the server, as long as the other users have write access the Cats/DGNLink directory.
