To get ADT (AutoCAD Architectural Desk Top) wall, doors, etc., you must first save the Dwg with proxy graphics in AutoCAD.

To save your drawing with proxy graphics:

  1. Open the Dwg with AutoCAD
  2. At the command line, type PROXYGRAPHICS.
  3. Type 1 to set the variable to true.
  4. At the command line, type ISAVEPERCENT.
  5. Type 0 to set the variable zero percent.
  6. Save your drawing with the active viewport set to display the graphics to be saved as proxies.
  7. Exit AutoCAD and Translate

If you don't see the walls, doors, etc. in AutoCAD, you will have to download an Object Enabler for your AutoCAD from the AutoCAD Product Center on the Autodesk web site. There is no charge.
